FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mining and can be used to assess the stressed state of rocks in a rock massif. Method includes electromagnetic and elastic waves receiving from cracks, an estimation of a stressed condition of rocks. Cracks are created by directed increasing shock loads on the rock and fixing their appearance by the frequency spectrum of electromagnetic and elastic waves. Stressed state of the rock is evaluated by the value of the specific force of that of the indicated loads, at which the stress in the rock reaches its ultimate strength.
EFFECT: technical result consists in increasing the efficiency of the stressed state of rocks estimating method by increasing the local stress in the rock to the limit of its strength and estimating the values of the actually acting in it stresses.
