SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the font addition. Method comprises the steps of: collecting an image; recognizing a word in the image as at least one word character, wherein the word character is a font file corresponding to a single character; and adding the word character to a default system font library, wherein the system font library is a font library which is adopted when a word is displayed on a user interface, the addition of a character to the system font library by default includes: for each character having the said personalized font characteristic, recognizing from the library of system fonts at least one standard word or candidate symbol corresponding to this character; receiving a word selection operation on one standard word or candidate symbol and in the system font library replacing the standard word or candidate symbol selected by the word selection operation by the aforementioned character.

EFFECT: technical result is the simplification of the font modification operation.
