FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to power engineering and can be used in advanced atomic and thermonuclear plants. Circulation loop of the liquid metal is made preferably in the horizontal plane in the form of a closed eight, is divided into two magnetohydrodynamic upward parts of the dispersal of a liquid metal with a successive direction of circulation of the liquid metal. Parts of the loops are made double with an internal section made of a porous magnetically transparent metal separating the sections into the subsections for supplying a high-temperature inert gas and the section for pumping the liquid metal. Supply of the high-temperature gas to the section of the liquid metal loop is carried out at the gas pressure above the pressure in the liquid metal loop. Accelerated movement of the liquid metal is carried out on a gas "cushion" from the high-temperature inert gas.
EFFECT: technical result is increasing the speed of circulation of the liquid metal.
