SUBSTANCE: invention relates to food and pharmaceutical industry. Method for separating unsaturated and saturated alkyl glycidyl ether from sea fats, comprising the esterification of fatty acids of a lipid mixture with an anhydrous low molecular weight alcohol in the presence of a catalyst, isolation of unsaturated alkyl glycidyl ethers from total alkyl glycidyl ethers by extraction with aqueous alcoholic solutions. As catalyst in the esterification of fatty acids, sulfuric acid is used in an amount of 1–2 % to the volume of the reaction mixture, and ethanol is used as the anhydrous low-molecular weight alcohol; before esterification of fatty acids, hydrolysis of fat with an alkaline agent, acidify the resulting mixture, wash it with water, then the saturated alkyl glycidyl ethers are crystallized from the organic solvent, separated by filtration, and the resulting filtrate containing unsaturated alkyl glycidyl ethers is evaporated, the elimination of unsaturated alkyl glycidyl ethers is carried out by extraction with ethanol with a water content of 25–50 % by volume, at a ratio lipid mixture: extractant – 1:3–7, v/v, after which the product obtained is purified by column chromatography on silica gel using a 10:1 petroleum ether acetate eluent system → 10:4.5, v/v.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to create an efficient and economical method for producing unsaturated alkyl glycidyl ethers from sea fats, which ensures high quality of the desired product, as well as the integrated use of valuable sea raw materials.
