FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metal forming by pressure, particularly to the distribution of tubular blanks from thermally strengthened aluminum alloys. Device comprises a matrix, an outer casing, a punch and a working body from an ice rod. Tubular preform heated to the temperature for quenching is placed in a matrix with a gap ensuring uniform cooling of the outer surface of the tubular preform. In this case, an ice rod is used with an outer diameter equal to the inner diameter of the matrix, configured to be mounted on the tubular preform and melting of its outer part at room temperature upon contact with a heated tubular preform and sliding into it for dispensing.
