FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to diesel engines, in particular to a test apparatus for assessing the parameters of the components of the combustion chamber, when developing a basic diesel engine. Cylinder-piston group is made whole in the form of a plate. Bottom of the plate imitates the bottom of the piston in the top dead center position. Cylindrical part of the plate imitates the cylinder within the ring collar. Cylinder cover is made in the form of a plate with at least six holes for the clamping power bolts with nuts, gas seal in the joint of the sleeve and the cover is made in the form of a combined gasket, made from plastic materials, such as copper, aluminum or copper-plated steel, or a soft steel sanded pad, or as a seamless joint with the ground contact surfaces of the cover and the cylinder sleeve. Tool, simulating cyclic loads from the pressure forces of gases to the components of the combustion chamber, is made in the form of a hydraulic system, consisting of a high-pressure fuel pump with a drive motor, a fuel tank, pipelines for supplying fuel from the pump to the combustion chamber and transferring fuel from the chamber to the fuel tank, non-return valve, manometer, supply and drain valves.
EFFECT: technical result is the simplification and improvement of the design of the components of the combustion chamber; improved reliability.
