SUBSTANCE: for diagnosis of IBS-similar syndrome in ulcerative colitis, diarrhea syndrome, flatulence, discomfort and abdominal pain, endoscopic remission of ulcerative colitis, lymphoplasmocytic infiltration of the own mucosa, dysbacteriosis, dyskinesia of the colon are detected, the level of C-reactive protein in the blood, the level of fecal calprotectin, bifidobacteria, lactobacilli and growth of opportunistic microflora in feces are determined. In the presence of diarrhea syndrome, meteorism, discomfort and abdominal pain, endoscopic remission of ulcerative colitis in the Mayo index of 2 or less, C-reactive protein level in blood of 5 mg/l or less, fecal calprotectin level of 250 μg/g or less, lymphoplasmocytic infiltration of the own mucosa, dysbacteriosis, hypermotor dyskinesia of the colon with pronounced spastic activity at a frequency of slow-wave activity of 8.5-9.7 per min and spikes frequency of 3.7-4.5 per min, bifidobacterial deficiency of 10⁷ CFU/g or less, lactobacillus deficiency of 10⁵ CFU/g and less in feces and the growth of opportunistic microflora of more than 10³ CFU/g, IBS-similar syndrome is diagnosed with ulcerative colitis.

EFFECT: method allows to increase the accuracy of the IBS-similar syndrome definition in ulcerative colitis due to the quantitative characteristics of the studied indicators.
