SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely, to surgery, and can be used for choosing surgical intervention access. Spiral computed tomography of the abdominal cavity is performed. Images obtained in the plane of the axial, frontal, sagittal, oblique-axial and oblique-sagittal sections are used. Access indicators are determined on the obtained images. Access indicators are assessed in scores: wound depth, inclination angle of the operation axis, the operation angle by the length. Summarizing the points. If the score is 7 or more, the access conditions are regarded as excellent. If the score is from 4 to 6 inclusive, the access conditions are good. If the score is from 1 to 3 inclusive, the access conditions are satisfactory. If the score is 1 or less, the access conditions are unsatisfactory. With the same number of points, access with a shorter length is selected.

EFFECT: method provides an accurate pre-operative assessment of the parameters of operative access to the transverse colonic, as well as in patients with contraindications to MRT, allows to expand the arsenal of surgeon's tools for predicting surgical intervention, to shorten the surgery duration, to reduce tissue trauma, improve the cosmetic effect by performing spiral computed tomography, obtaining a complex of optimal images and evaluating the most significant access indicators.
