FIELD: rocket engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention discloses a composite solid propellant containing an active fuel-binder and an oxidizer, wherein detonation nanodiamond is additionally introduced into the fuel, as well as an oxidizer co-crystallized with the detonation nanodiamond, with the following total ratio of pure and co-crystallized components, mass %: active fuel-binder 15–30; oxidizer 84.5–60; detonation nanodiamond 0.5–10. Also a composite solid rocket fuel is disclosed containing the active fuel-binder and the oxidant, in addition, an explosive and the detonation nanodiamond are added to the fuel, as well as the oxidizer co-crystallized with the detonation nanodiamond, and the explosive, co-crystallized with the detonation nanodiamond, with the following total ratio of pure and co-crystallized components, mass %: active fuel-binder 15–30; oxidizer 74.5–20; explosive 10–40; detonation nanodiamond is 0.5–10.

EFFECT: technical effect is an increase in the density of the composition, an increase in the enthalpy of fuel formation and, as a consequence, of the energy component, the absence of losses of the specific impulse for the biphasic nature of the outflow, in comparison with metal-containing compositions, an increase in gaseous combustion products, a lack of burnout of the nozzle block in comparison with metal-containing compositions.
