SUBSTANCE: invention relates to armament, namely to recoil devices of artillery guns. Recoil device contains several telescopic cylinders entering one another and equipped with stroke limiters and seals. One of the outermost cylinders is connected by a safety relief valve to the expansion tank.
EFFECT: reduction in the recoil thrust, a uniform recoil force and an optimal return speed are achieved.
