FIELD: measuring equipment; test equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measuring and testing equipment, in particular to testing of electrical equipment under load with the ability to appropriately detect anomalies based on a relay failure. Load-testing equipment includes: a resistor unit that includes a resistor group comprising a relay and resistors and coupled to a tested power source for conducting tests under load; a selector switch used to select whether to apply power from the tested power source to said resistor group; a unit for measuring electrical signals, intended for measuring the voltage applied to the resistor block and/or the current flowing through the resistor unit; and a control unit. Specified relay operates according to the on/off state of the selector switch in order to control the power supply from the tested power source to the resistor group containing the relay. Control unit is configured to determine whether the relay is operating normally on the basis of the measured information including the information of the time variation of the voltage and/or current, when the selector switch has operated, which is information coming from said electrical signal measuring unit, and the control unit is configured to control the shutdown to terminate the power supply from the tested power source to the resistor unit. Control unit is arranged to compare the control information and the measured information. Control area of the signal as the control information is compared with the measured information, the control area of the signal comprising a signal representing the time variation of the voltage and/or current, when the selector switch operates, and represented as a curve having a constant width. In this case, a determination is made based on the length of the time interval of a signal representing the measured information that is contained in the signal control area, when said signal representing the measured information is superimposed on said reference signal area.
EFFECT: check and control the relay operation.
