SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, in particular to dermatovenereology, and is a method for determining the severity of psoriatic onychia, consisting in that the nail plates of brushes are treated with a mixture of diethyl ether-ethanol in a ratio of 1:1, are cut off, grinded, 30 mg of ground nail plates are extracted with a solution containing 5 ml of phosphate buffer with a pH of 7.4 and 1 ml of 96° ethyl alcohol, are maintained on a boiling water bath for 10 minutes, the mixture is filtered through a filter paper, then chemiluminescent analysis of the obtained extract is carried out to estimate the intensity of the fast flare (Fmax, rel.) and the light-weight sum of chemiluminescence (S, rel.), the coefficient Z equal to the ratio of S to Fmax is calculated, and at 7.04<Z≤9.4 the mild severity of psoriatic psittacosis is determined, at 9.4<Z≤10.2 – the average severity of psoriatic onychia is determined, and at Z>10.2 severe psoriatic onychia is determined.

EFFECT: method makes it possible to objectify the definition of the degree of severity of psoriatic onychia.
