FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chemical engineering and can be used in processes with a circulating flow of finely dispersed catalyst. Method for determining the circulation rate of a fine catalyst in a circulation line between a reactor and a regenerator including a catalyst lift comprises measuring the temperature of said lift and determining the circulation rate of the fine catalyst according to a predetermined relationship between said rate and the temperature of the lift. Reactor is preferably a reactor for oxidative conversion of ethane to ethylene. Catalyst lift is preferably isolated from the environment.
EFFECT: simplification of the method, possibility of measuring the circulation rate of the catalyst without using additional equipment and without interrupting the technological process.
