SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ophthalmic lenses. System for providing warning signal to the user of ophthalmic lens on eye, comprising: timer circuit configured to track the flow of time; communication system configured to perform at least one-way communication to obtain data; notification mechanism configured to provide notification; system controller electrically connected to said timing chain, said communication system and said notification mechanism, wherein said system controller is configured to control said timer circuit indicated by the communication system and said notification mechanism.
EFFECT: wherein the ophthalmic lens is configured to seal at least a portion of said timing chain, said communication system, said notification mechanism, and said system controller.
