FIELD: separation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for purifying gas from a dropping liquid and finely dispersed mechanical impurities using centrifugal forces that arise when the gas flow is twisted. Present invention can be used to separate gas-liquid flows in the oil, gas, petrochemical and other industries. Separating centrifugal element comprises a shell, a swirler, a dropper, a hollow body placed coaxially with a shell, one end of which is located above the level of the swirler and is formed with an opening, the opposite end is located above the dropper and is sealed. In this case, the hollow body above the level of the end with an opening on its outer surface is provided with a fine mesh net for destroying the flow of the liquid film. Hollow body is connected to the dropper plates. Centrifugal element further comprises guides connecting the outer surfaces of the dropper and the shell. Hollow body has two levels of perforation, the upper perforation is above the level of the dropper, and the lower perforation is below the level of the dropper, but above the level of the fine mesh net to break the flow of the liquid film.
EFFECT: technical result of the invention consists in increasing the efficiency of gas separation from liquid and increasing the productivity of the separating element.
