FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to separation of gas-fluid flows and may be used in various industries, for example, gas processing. Proposed separator comprises shell ring with separated fluid catcher and swirler. Hollow cylindrical body is arranged inside said shell ring and aligned therewith. Body first tight end extends above said catcher while second nozzle-like end is located above swirler. Extending end of hollow body is furnished with gas feed branch pipes. Fender made up of sphere segment with spherical surface directed downward is arranged above second end. Nozzle may shut off said fender.
EFFECT: higher efficiency, reduced hydraulic friction.
