FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for desalination of marine, mineralized and polluted waters. Helio-distillation unit comprises body with transparent coating 1 and bottom 2 located on floating platform 3, condenser 8, blackened strands 5 of hydrophilic material attached inside the body to suspensions 6 and outwardly extending bottom 2 of the body to the water level through hermetically sealed tubes 7 on the bottom. Blackened tows 5 are located in the air zone of the body inside translucent cylinders 11 having a closed upper and open lower bottom. On the sides of the floating platform are mounted light-concentrating mirror surfaces 9. Inside the casing there is a steam pipe 10, the upper end of which is located in the upper area of the casing, and its lower end is lowered into condenser 8.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to simplify the design of the helio-distillation unit and increase its productivity.
