FIELD: environmental protection.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the distillation of marine, contaminated or mineralized waters by means of the solar energy. Solar desalinator contains liquid-filled container 1 with optically transparent cover 2, heat receiver 3 made in the form of a hollow metal rod immersed into a liquid and equipped with radiation absorbing head 4 located in the focus zone of lens 5. Into the deepening of container 1 bottom salt pond 6 is introduced. Lower support 7 and side openings are made in the rod. One side opening 8 is located in the air space between the cover and liquid level 9. Second side opening 10 is located outside container 1 and is connected to steam duct 11 for condensation. Third side opening 13 is located in the surface layer of the liquid and is closed by an additionally inserted movable rod 14. Lenses 5 on the head of the rod are made as foclines. Between head 4 and lower support 7 of the rod, heat pipe 15 is additionally introduced. In head 4 of the rod, a cavity is made filled with heat-accumulating material 17.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase the productivity of the desalinator.
