SUBSTANCE: invention relates to user interfaces for working with data in computer information systems. In method of preparing documents in markup languages, when implementing user interface to work with data of information system, metadata are generated for operation and form operation presentation template consisting of one document generated in markup language. Template link and operations are formed and saved. Template is displayed, links of template elements with operations are formed and saved. Template element is selected and information about operations available for communication is displayed. Operation is selected, link containing identifier of previously selected template element and identifier of previously selected operation are formed and saved.
EFFECT: technical result is to improve efficiency of preparing documents in markup languages when implementing user interface to work with information system data, reducing time spent in preparing documents and simplifying their subsequent support.
