DEVICE FOR SPRAYING AEROSOL COMPOSITION UNDER THE INCLINED ACUTE ANGLE Russian patent published in 2018 - IPC B05B1/04

Abstract RU 2651165 C1

FIELD: manufacturing technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the devices for supplying aerosol contents by means of gaseous pressure from the inside. Spray nozzle of the mounting gun for the controlled aerosol spraying of the polyurethane composition at the inclined acute angle comprises the cylinder-like body, which is equipped from the first end with the base having the seat opening, which extends into the mentioned cylindrical body, forming therein the cavity for accommodating the gun barrel, which is to be attached to the container. Container contains the aerosol composition. Base is made in the form of the oppositely lying petals in one plane relative to one another that protrude beyond the dimensions of the body. Size of the petals is made sufficient in order to provide the support of the user's fingers in order to place the gun barrel inside the nozzle cavity. Peripheral section of the second end of the cylinder-like body that is located on the side of one of the mentioned petals, is formed with the arcuated cross-section protrusion. Outer arcuated surface of the protrusion is flush with the outer surface of the cylinder-like body. Arc length of the outer surface exceeds the width of the petal. Outer surface of the arcuated projection is performed to be rounded and tapering upwards in order to form the common upper surface with the additional projection of a cylindrical configuration. Additional protrusion is concentric with respect to the cylinder-like body with the diameter that is smaller than the diameter of the latter and partially embedded by its side wall into the inner surface of the arcuated protrusion. From the free side of the additional protrusion from the edge of the common upper surface up to its underlying axial portion along the width, the inclined acute-angled V-shaped groove is made, which communicates with the axial opening of the second end of the cylinder-like body and divides the additional protrusion into parts. Free part is made smaller, and its upper surface abuts the second end of the cylinder-like body and is located at an acute or blunt angle with respect to it. Spray nozzle is provided with the means of its fastening at its own, not operated position.

EFFECT: improved orientation of the jet of polyurethane composition in space for the purpose of its effective and qualitative inclined (angular) application to the surface that is being treated, ensuring improved separation of excess high-pressure gas and preventing the removal of high-boiling hydrocarbon blowing agents that promote further polymerization and foaming of the product, which is applied to the treated surface.
