FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to machine building, particularly to pedal drives. Pedal drive is made of two planetary gears oppositely arranged on the carriage shaft, each of which contains a pinion carrier, connecting rod with a pedal and stationary gear wheel. In the first variant, the drive uses a non-circular, redented wheel-satellite and stationary wheel installed with an eccentricity connected by a two-stage gear train. Change in the inclination angle of the connecting rod to the vertical is strictly connected with the carriage shaft rotation angle. In the second variant, the redented wheel-satellite and the stationary wheel installed with the eccentricity are connected by means of a chain or belt transmission. Regulating tension elements are added, the position of which is strictly dependent on the carriage shaft rotation angle, located at fixed points of the carrier or on a bracket hinged on the pinion carrier. Bracket rotation is carried out by rigid traction under the additional lever purchase.
EFFECT: higher traction power of the pedal drive is achieved.
