FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of technical physics, namely to methods for the gas stream breaking temperature determining, and can be used for long-term local measurement of the full temperature of the incident flow in the elements of gas turbine engines, for example in the transition channels, at the exit from the combustion chamber, with a Mach number from 0.1 to 0.7 of the incident flow and a temperature exceeding 2000 K. Essence of the invention is that the thermocouple is placed in a closed case of the heat receiver, the heat receiver is installed towards the gas flow and the temperature of the steam braking is determined taking into account the temperature recovery coefficient. In this case, three additional thermocouples are placed in the body of the heat receiver, located along the flow with an equal pitch, cooling the heat receiver, measuring the pressure and temperature of the cooling medium, and distributing the temperatures along the length of the heat receiver. Coefficient of recovery of the flow temperature is determined from the indications of the first thermocouple from the ratio including the coefficients, characterizing the effect of the geometric parameters of the heat exchanger, the effect of the flow rate of the cooling medium and the influence of the temperature of the cooling medium on the distribution of temperatures along the axis of the heat receiver.
EFFECT: technical result achieved in the implementation of the proposed method consists in method simplifying by allowing the measurement of flow temperatures lying above the range allowed for the measuring means.
