FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measurement of temperature fields of gas streams, in particular, to measurement of temperature of plasma stream. Disclosed is a method of measuring temperature of plasma stream, according to which heat sink is installed so that one of surfaces defining it is washed by plasma. Temperature is measured on opposite surface of heat sink. Temperature of washed surface of heat sink and heat flow through it from plasma stream is determined by solving boundary inverse problem of non-stationary heat conductivity, and temperature of plasma stream is calculated based on found heat flow from plasma taking into account convective and radiant components thereof.
EFFECT: technical result is higher accuracy of measuring temperature of plasma stream.
