SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electrical engineering and electric power engineering and can be used in systems of centralized monitoring and monitoring of electric power systems, in reactive power compensation systems, in power active filters. Method of the instantaneous reactive power determining of a three-phase network consists in measuring signals proportional to the current and voltage projections values depicting current vectors on three phase axes, then these values are multiplied together and then the resulting signals are summed with production at the output of a signal proportional to the three-phase network instantaneous reactive power.
EFFECT: technical result is an increase in the accuracy and speed of measuring the instantaneous reactive power of a three-phase network.
