FIELD: automotive industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the maintenance of vehicles, in particular to automatic external car washing installations. Working element of the car washer includes pressure nozzles, providing, in dynamic mode, a continuous front of the jet for surface treatment at the required distance from the working element. Working element comprises a carriage with controlled movement along the working element, depending on the technological cycle of washing and the profile of the surface to be treated, the arrangement of the nozzles being located both in dynamic, and in static positions on the carriage, moving along the treated surface of the car. Jet power at a pressure of at least 120 atmospheres and elimination of the jet ejection past the treated surface are specified by the control program, while the treated surface shape and size sensors and the sensors for preventing a collision of the working element with the surface to be treated are mounted on the working element.
EFFECT: total capacity of the pumping unit is reduced, thereby reducing the total power consumption and providing a resource-saving regime (saving of water and detergents).
