FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to transport engineering, namely to locking systems for differentials of automobile transport. Differential locking device contains a case with a differential placed in it and a hydropodic lock clutch, a hydraulic cylinder connected to a pneumatic chamber. Pneumatic chamber and hydraulic cylinder are combined into one body. Pneumatic piston is rigidly connected to a spring-loaded hydraulic piston. Area of the pneumatic piston is larger than the area of the hydraulic piston. Sub-piston cavity of the hydraulic piston is provided with a shut-off and check valve connected to the lock cylinder and to the oil sump of the case, respectively. Pistons movement is limited by the stop.
EFFECT: increase in the oil pressure on the differential lock piston, increased reliability of the differential lock while the vehicle is moving.
