FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to transfer box. Transfer box comprises housing (1) accommodating drive shaft (2), intermediate shaft (3) and output shaft (4). High-gear (5) and lower gear (6) are mounted on drive shaft (2). Gears (5) and (6) are in permanent engagement respectively with gears (7) and (8) of intermediate shaft (3). Box is equipped with friction multi-clutches located at both ends of drive shaft (2) and consisting of driving half-couplings (9) and (10) and driven half-couplings (11) and (12). Half-couplings (9) and (10) are rigidly installed on driving shaft (2), driven half-coupling (11) is rigidly connected to gear (5), and driven half-coupling (12) is rigidly connected to gear (6) of the lower gear. Intermediate shaft (3) is connected with interaxle differential (14), which is equipped with locking mechanism made in form of multi-disk friction coupling (15). According to the first version, between gears (5) and (6) there is splint coupling (16) of gear shifting engaged alternately with toothed rims of gears (5) and (6).
EFFECT: enabling transfer box ranges switching during vehicle movement.
