FEATHERING HORIZONTAL FINS Russian patent published in 2018 - IPC B64C9/10 B64C5/14

Abstract RU 2651958 C1

FIELD: aircraft engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aircraft engineering. Feathering horizontal fins comprise horizontal stabilizing surface (1), hinged on an axis which is perpendicular to the baseline of the fuselage (not shown). Servo wheel, designed according to the polyplane scheme, consists of three identical plans (2), rigidly connected to each other by means of racks (3). Rod (4) is rigidly connected to a polyplane box of three planes (2), it is hinged on one axis parallel to the other axis. Servo wheel is balanced by balancer (5). Connection between the servo wheel and stabilizing surface (1) is carried out by rod (6) with hinges (7 and 8). Coupling (9) serves to change the length of rod (6).

EFFECT: invention is aimed at increasing operational characteristics of the feathering horizontal fins.
