SUBSTANCE: invention relates to industrial acoustics, for example, to reduce the noise of the spindle drive of the spinning machines. Acoustic screen for the self-twisting spinning machines contains the soundproof cover that tightly closes the ATD unit together with the original product, the exhaust roller and the belt. Lid is lined with sound-absorbing material and with the acoustically transparent film of the "poviden" type, and at the exhaust roller with the total length L and outer diameter D, at least three grooves with the diameter d are made: the central groove of length L₂ and the lateral grooves of length L_1. Lining of the soundproof cover is made in the form of the rigid and perforated walls, between which is the multilayer sound-absorbing element is located, which is made in the form of two layers, one of which that is adjacent to the rigid wall is sound-absorbing, and the other, adjacent to the perforated wall, is made with a perforation from a sound reflecting material of a complex profile consisting of uniformly distributed hollow tetrahedrons. Material based on aluminum-containing alloys is used as the sound-reflecting material, followed by filling with titanium hydride or air with the density within 0.5…0.9 kg/m³ with the following strength properties: compressive strength within 5…10 MPa, bending strength within 10…20 MPa, for example, foam aluminum, or soundproofing plates based on the glass staple fiber of the "Shumostop" type at the material density of 60÷80 kg/m³, or the material based on a magnesia binder with reinforcing fiberglass or glass wool.

EFFECT: technical result is the increased efficiency of noise suppression.
