SUBSTANCE: printing machine (100*) of two-sided printing is described which is capable of performing simultaneous two-sided printing on sheets, printing machine (100*) comprises main printing device (5, 6, 15, 16, 25, 26) with first and second printing cylinders (5, 6) interacting with each other to form a first line of contact between first and second printing cylinders (5, 6), where the first and second sides of the sheets are printed at the same time, wherein first printing cylinder (5) acts as a sheet transport cylinder of main printing device (5, 6, 15, 16, 25, 26). Printing machine (100*) further comprises additional printing device (7, 8, 17, 18, 27, 28) with third and fourth printing cylinders (7, 8), interacting with each other to form a second line of contact between third and fourth printing cylinders (7, 8), wherein the first and second sides of the sheets are simultaneously printed, and third printing cylinder (7) acts as a sheet transport cylinder of additional printing device (7, 8, 17, 18, 27, 28). Main printing device (5, 6, 15, 16, 25, 26) and additional printing device (7, 8, 17, 18, 27, 28) are connected to each other by an intermediate sheet transport system comprising one or more sheet transporting cylinders (10, 10', 10''), located between first and third printing cylinders (5, 7).
