Breast pump system comprises a breast pump, comprising a funnel for inserting the user's breast, a pumping device configured to reduce the pressure in the funnel of the breast pump. Drive mechanism is configured to drive the pumping device. Power source is configured to supply power to the drive mechanism. Rotary speed control module of the drive mechanism is configured to actuate the drive mechanism with a first rotary speed when the pumping device is turned on and continuing the operation of the drive mechanism with a second rotary speed higher than the first rotary speed once the load on the drive mechanism reaches a predetermined level. Method of using the breast pump system is disclosed.

EFFECT: technical result consists in providing adjustment of the rotary speed of the drive mechanism, thereby reducing power consumption and noise level.
