Unmanned aerial vehicle (236) moves along the route (522) through a group of trees (206) at a height, providing the possibility of measuring a specified number of diameters of a group of trees (206) by means of sensor system (306) associated with an unmanned aerial vehicle (236). Generating information about a certain number of diameters for a group of trees (206) using a sensor system (306), associated with an unmanned aerial vehicle (236).
EFFECT: provides reduction in labour effort and accuracy of measurements.
