FIELD: aviation; computer engineering.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the airborne vehicle inspection system and a method of determining information therefrom. Proposed system comprises unmanned aerial vehicle and support station. Unmanned aerial vehicle comprises a reading device, a controller, a transceiver. Support station comprises a communication system, a controller and a storage device. In order to determine information on aircraft, a map of location of its radio-frequency identification marks is received at the reference station, transmitting it to a droned aircraft, in which navigation signals are generated based on the received map to control its movement next to the radio-frequency identification mark located on the aerial vehicle in a certain place, readout data from a radio-frequency identification mark for determining information on an aeronautical vehicle is transmitted to a reference station from an unmanned aerial vehicle.
EFFECT: providing maintenance of aircraft and obtaining accurate inventory of spare parts.
