FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy. Production of seamless steel pipes is carried out in a rolling train. Rolling train includes one or more longitudinal or transverse roll stands arranged one behind the other and an internal tool. Internal tool is made in the form of a long mandrel or bar (4) with piercing mandrel (3) mounted in its front. Internal tool rotates (7) about its longitudinal axis (10) due to the rotation (5) of the rolled material around its longitudinal axis (9). On the longitudinal axis of the internal tool, at a distance from the longitudinal axis of the rolled material, rotary motion is applied with a greater frequency compared with the rotational motion of the rolled material. Rotary motion of the internal tool about its longitudinal axis (10) in the direction of rotation of the rolled material is maintained.
EFFECT: reducing eccentricity of the rolled material.
