FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to road traffic control, in particular to technical means of teaching driving of tractor equipment. Road simulator comprises a driver’s cabin, a steering column, steering controls, located in the cabin, a driver's seat, a car microprocessor device with which the instrumentation is connected, and a screen for displaying the road view. Driver’s cabin is mounted on a rotary platform located on a tilting platform through roller bearings. Rotary platform is located on the tilting platform through roller bearings. To bring the training closer to real conditions, groups of pneumatic actuators and a simulator central microprocessor device with arrays and a program for real-time mapping of the road and the surrounding terrain are used.
EFFECT: technical result is higher effectiveness of training in conditions that are closer to real conditions due to the effect of road terrain and turns.
