Super-resolution processing unit includes an offset estimator configured to receive a set of low resolution images of one scene, receive pixel offsets for low resolution images for all pixels corresponding to the same fragments in the low resolution image set, receive sets of integer pixel offsets by calculating an integer pixel offset for each pixel offset, receive sets of fractional pixel offsets by calculating a fractional pixel offset for each pixel offset; a filter bank configured to store filter sets; filter selection block; a high-resolution image acquisition unit configured to obtain a high resolution image in an RGB format.
EFFECT: improve image and video quality without losing image data.
