FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of engineering, in particular to devices for converting unidirectional discontinuous motion into rotational motion. Device for converting rectilinear motion into rotary motion contains a frame, a shaft with a flywheel, an overrunning clutch, a flexible coupling and an additional shaft. Flywheel is kinematically connected by a freewheel clutch with a pulley made on its outer cage. Pulley contains a flexible connection coiled on its peripheral surface. Asterisk of the overrunning clutch is connected by a flexible link with an additional shaft rotatable. Counterweight by means of one block or system blocks and flexible transmission creates a torque for giving the direction of rotation of the pulley in a direction opposite to the direction of rotation of the shaft.
EFFECT: wider range of equipment is achieved.
