FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods and apparatuses using, for processing a different kind of raw material, energy of a rotating permanent magnetic field acting on ferromagnetic elements that interact directly with the raw material to be processed, and can be used in various industries, mainly for homogenization of suspensions and production of ultrafine powders. Apparatus comprises a working chamber with ferromagnetic elements, which is made in the form of a removable bowl, docked with the lower part of the apparatus body. In the upper part of the bowl there is a rotating magnetic head creating a constant magnetic field with a intensity value providing the centrifugal whirling of the ferromagnetic elements due to their gravitation to the magnetic head, detachment of ferromagnetic elements from it under action of a centrifugal force on them, and collision of ferromagnetic elements with each other and with the bowl walls. Rotation speed of the magnetic head is set so that the force created by the centrifugal force acting on the ferromagnetic element exceeds the force of its retention by the magnetic head. Apparatus body is provided with inlet and outlet nozzles located diametrically on the sides of the apparatus body and a partition that divides the input and output streams.

EFFECT: technical result is simplifying formation of whirling of ferromagnetic elements affecting the processed raw materials, reduced mass and dimension characteristics of the apparatus and reduced energy consumption during its operation.
