FIELD: radio engineering and communications.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of radio engineering, computer technology, communications and global navigation satellite systems and can be used in civil aviation. This result is achieved by ensuring the definition of an ionospheric storm in a stationary control and correcting station (SCCS) without the use of additional remote equipment due to the analysis and detection of the corresponding ionospheric storm dynamics of changes in differential corrections at specified intervals. Method for determining the ionospheric storm is carried out by means of a ground stationary SCCS located in the zone of a specific airport and is characterized by an appropriate sequence of actions.
EFFECT: simplification and expansion of functionality.
