HYDRAULICALLY INSTALLED DRILLABLE PACKER Russian patent published in 2018 - IPC E21B33/12

Abstract RU 2653196 C1

FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to packers. Hydraulically installed drillable packer comprises a packer device including a housing, a hollow shaft on which are installed breakable dies, wedges, breaking thrust rings, a sealant and a spring clip and a locking device disposed in the lower section thereof, comprising an installation device including a hollow shaft itself, a sealing block, and including a mandrel substitute. Installation device contains at least three sleeves. Upper and middle sleeves and the lower sleeve with seat are installed on their own hollow shaft, made with a tip, and are interfaced with the screws. Installation device comprises a hydraulic amplifier consisting of a cylinder, a pusher with the ability to move over the cylinder surface, the stops connected to each other with a thread, and mounted on the supports plungers. Stops are located on their own hollow shaft, are connected through the hollow shaft by the thread with a tip and connected to the mandrel substitute via adapter. In the adapter a supporting bushing is installed, which is interfaced with the upper, middle and lower sleeves with screws with the possibility of their cutting. With the setting pressure increase, the plungers and pusher move the spring retainer along the hollow shaft to breaking plates and its packing. With further increase of the adjustable pressure, the screws cutting off, the upper, middle and lower sleeves connection and their movement until stop to their own hollow shaft occurs and also the lower sleeve seat with the ball movement until stop in the tip, which ensures the passageway opening.

EFFECT: technical result is ensuring of the installation works performance in a single tripping operation.
