FIELD: energy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wind power engineering. Vertical axial wind turbine contains a wind rotor with a base for blades and blades, fixed on a vertical shaft, tail unit, wind rotor non-working side cover, coaxial with the shaft and configured to be orientated by the tail unit in the horizontal plane, the tail unit and the cover counterweights. Wind turbine is equipped with cover counterweight profiled holders, located from above and from below of the wind rotor, wherein closest to the wind rotor edges of the counterweight holders are bent corresponding to the bend of the wind rotor blades edges, at that, the vertical shaft is located inside the vertical-axial wind turbine support tower, and the generator is on the vertical shaft with the wind rotor are generating energy.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at increasing of the wind turbine efficiency.
