FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: vibration isolator consists of the successively connected and coaxially arranged rigid shells of the truncated cone: the upper and lower. In each shell, an elastic-damping element is coaxially arranged in the form of a cylindrical helical spring, the turns of which are covered with polyurethane. Upper base of each of the shells is a hard drive connected to them. Each disk is supported by the upper ends of the elastic-damping elements. Lower base of each of the shells is open to the installation of elastic elements. Inclined elastic elements are located in the peripheral part of the shells. Vertical elastic elements with their upper ends are connected with the lower end part of the lower shell, and the lower ends – with the base. Elastic elements are installed in planes with a shift of 90°.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of vibration isolation is achieved.
