FIELD: data storage media.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to data storage means. Data storage device (10) comprises control unit (100), first storage unit (110), second storage unit (120), third storage unit (125), and buffer (130). First storage unit (110) is configured to store a plurality of data sets. Control module (100) is configured to receive requests for operations, to execute on a plurality of data sets in first storage unit (110), execute the received requests and copy a plurality of data sets in first storage unit (120) to second storage unit (120) at a predetermined point in time. Control module is further adapted to add received requests for operations to buffer (130) and storing buffer (130) in third storage unit (125) using the synchronization means. Data storage device is configured to initialize a plurality of data sets in first storage unit (110) from second storage unit (120) and perform operations corresponding to the requests from third storage unit (125) in the recovery scenario.
EFFECT: technical result consists in reducing the time for processing requests in the event of a device failure.
