FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to differential mechanisms with automatic blocking devices. Said self-locking differential includes a casing, half-axle gears with satellites and a locking device made in the form of a reversible hydraulic pump, that includes a stator, rotor, blades with springs, distribution disk, cover, back-pressure valves and suction, discharge and outlet channels. Above locking device has two differential lock valves installed after the check valves in the axial parts of the output channels, each of which consists of a piston with diametrically located axial rectangular grooves along its height and compression spring, which is installed in the coaxial hole following the bore of the piston, with a diameter equal to the inner diameter of said axial rectangular grooves on the piston. Said piston has a conical chamfer on the right of the height of these axial rectangular grooves, and the bottom of the hole under the piston - the corresponding conical surface.
EFFECT: increase in the blocking properties of the differential and high efficiency is achieved.
