SUBSTANCE: invention relates to remote monitoring of vehicles. System for remote monitoring of vehicles, including a computer server with a processor and a storage device, which stores instructions executable by the processor, the server being configured to receive an aerial image, receive data relating to the vehicle, receive a request for an image of a vehicle, identify the vehicle on the image and based on at least a fragment of the aerial image, on which a vehicle image is present, to provide information containing this aerial image and/or the location of the vehicle, and/or the route of the vehicle and/or an event in which the vehicle participates and/or the condition of the vehicle.
EFFECT: technical result is an improved process of locating and tracking a vehicle.
