SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to a system and method for cleaning windows of a vehicle. System comprises a laser sensor configured to provide at least one first datum, obtained due to a laser beam directed to a vehicle window, at least one rain sensor including a camera and/or a humidity sensor and configured to provide at least one second datum derived from the state of the vehicle window; and a computer comprising a processor and a storage device. Computer is configured to receive at least one first datum from the laser sensor and to determine that said at least one first datum refers to a state of at least the inner surface of the window, to receive at least one second datum from at least one rain sensor, to make decisions based on at least one first datum and at least one second datum about changing the window clearing control parameter, and issuing an instruction to initiate or change the operation performed by the vehicle component, based on the change of the specified parameter.
EFFECT: high-quality automatic window glass cleaning on time is provided.
