FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to plasma torches intended for performing surgical and physiotherapeutic effects on biological tissue by coagulation, destruction, evaporation and direct exposure to a low-temperature plasma stream. In plasma torch there is a power supply source for the electric arc, connected to the anode and cathode nodes. Anode assembly is made with heat-removing elements, plasma-forming channel, and cathode unit is made with tungsten electrode fixed relative to the plasma-forming channel coaxially by means of a ceramic sleeve, in the body of the anode assembly, gas-supplying channels are formed that pass into the gas expansion channels adjacent to the working washer of the anode assembly, which through the tangential holes communicate with the plasma-forming channel. On the body of the anode assembly is fixed the radiator with fins covered with a tubular casing in which holes are made on the side of the working washer, and the other end of the tubular casing is connected to the air suction pump.
EFFECT: technical result consists in increasing the reliability and maintainability of the medical plasmatron by eliminating the liquid cooling system and simplifying the design of the plasma torch.
