FIELD: electric arc plasma torches designs.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in designs of electric arc plasma torches used for mechanized and manual plasma cutting, metal welding and heat treatment of materials. The stationary part (1) of the plasma torch contains a circuit for supplying, discharging a cooling liquid and supplying a plasma-forming gas. The replaceable part (5) is divided into cathode and anode units (8, 13). The plasma torch is equipped with two nozzle circuits of the plasma gas flow. The first circuit provides the supply of plasma-forming gas to the nozzle assembly of the plasma torch, the second nozzle circuit (21) provides its additional supply at the outlet of the plasma jet from the forming nozzle (15). The annular stabilizing chamber (24) of the second nozzle circuit is connected by transfer channels (22) to the chamber (23) of the stabilizing swirler (19), and through distribution channels (25) it is connected to the annular swirler chamber (26) connected to the annular confuser stabilizing chamber (28) having an output stabilizing channel (31) with stabilizing channels (32) of smaller diameter concentrically arranged around it.

EFFECT: stabilization of the plasma jet formed in the anode unit of the replaceable part of the plasma torch, and uniform distribution of the plasma flow along the length and cross section at the inlet and outlet of the nozzle circuit.
