FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: electric machine has a casing comprising a base wall having at least one protrusion projecting towards the interior of the casing. Machine also comprises a stator formed by a ferromagnetic core having a plurality of pole pieces, a stator winding, a first and second insulators placed between the ferromagnetic core and the stator winding. At least one winding coil has one end portion cooperating with a protrusion of the base wall for heat exchange with it. Insulators have a cavity for the first number of turns of the coil and a second cavity for the second number of turns of the coil. First and second cavities are designed so that a layer of windings of the end portion adjacent to the protrusion is formed by the conductor portions which are all substantially coplanar with each other.

EFFECT: technical result is improvement of cooling of the stator winding.
