FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: generator excite an alternating current in the audio frequency range in the loop which is permanently placed during the entire measuring process and fed by an alternating current with subsequent excitation of an alternating current proceeding in the loop of a vertical magnetic field in the audio frequency range. The reception and recording of the magnetic field induced in the medium under study, which is created in the loop by the alternating magnetic field, is carried out with the help of at least one induction magnetoelectric transducer. The amplitude and phase characteristics of the magnetic field are measured by means of a newly introduced measuring device by forming a reference signal on the alternator and transmitting it to the measuring device via the communication channel. Induction magnetoelectric transducers together with the measuring device are moved horizontally along specified measurement grid at the investigated site inside and outside the loop at distances not more than twice the average distance from the center of the loop, with continuous or discrete recording and measuring the amplitude and phase characteristics of the magnetic field. Based on the results of measurements of the amplitude and phase characteristics of the magnetic field, graphs and maps of the relative amplitude and phase characteristics of the magnetic field along the observation lines are plotted. Based on the relative amplitude and phase characteristics of the magnetic field along the observation lines and the primary characteristics of the alternating current excited by the generator, the values of the effective specific electrical resistance of the soils on the site under investigation are defined and graph and maps of values of the effective specific electrical resistance of the soils on the site under investigation are plotted on this basis, and the presence and localization on the plan of a specified measurement grid of the assumed heterogeneity with electroconductive and/or ferromagnetic properties and present in the investigated medium is determined on the basis of processing and interpretation of graphs and/or maps of the relative amplitude and phase characteristics of the magnetic field along the corresponding observation lines and graphs and/or maps of values of the effective specific electrical resistance of the soils on the site under investigation.
EFFECT: increasing the efficiency of search operations with increasing the number of parameters of the studied medium.
